Just a short note ….
Had two ceilings skimmed to cover heavy Artex , arrived on time , did a great job , left no mess… will be using again for the remaining 8 rooms. ….Happy to recommend .
From the first point of contact with Martin, I received a first class service (a bit like things used to be in the good old days!) The same day as I telephoned Martin a quotation was provided on the way home from his current work, a date to carry out my plastering was given and the replacement of my three ceilings commenced on that date. The job was done professionally and cleanly and looks superb, I would not hesitate to use him again myself or indeed recommend him to friends and family. It is good to know trades people like Martin are out there.

Really brilliant job, the kitchen and bathroom have been transformed. Arrived at time given and didn’t stop all day. Will have Martin back to do dining room ceiling soon.

Martin did a great job, quick, efficient, all over from start to finish in a week. No fuss, no problems and would use him / recommend him again.
Excellent professional approach from the outset. Over a three day period Martin was punctual, tidy, hard working and efficient. The quality of the finished plastering work if of a very high standard (large bedroom/dressing room – walls and ceiling) and I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin to family and friends.

Excellent standard of workmanship.
Martin gave me a quotation and has come right on budget.
He removed the old tiles from a downstairs cloakroom, re plastered the walls and ceiling (to remove artex from the ceiling) painted the walls and ceiling, fitted a wash basin and WC and re tiled the floor and behind the washbasin all to an exceptionally high quality.
He is a clean and efficient worker who is polite and cleans up to a high standard. Fantastic quality of finish and i work certatinly have him back to do other jobs.
We first asked Martin to skim our bedroom last year, then the bathroom, then the hallway, stairwell and finally the lounge.. the whole process from initial quote through to completed work has been more than satisfactory. Martin is tidy, organised was (and is) trustworthy enough to let him do the work whilst you are on holiday.
No – I’m not one of his mates or a relative!!.
Good communication and quality of work… the only problem is that once you have him do your first room … you’ll want him to do more!

Martin’s was the first company that came up when I googled plasterers in my area. I looked at the testimonials and decided not to bother looking any further. When I spoke to him I had a tight deadline for my job which was relatively small and I wasn’t sure he would want to be bothered with it. He assured me he could fit it in and that he could do it by my deadline. He also gave me an estimate there and then over the phone.
He did an excellent job of plastering my stairs wall and while he was here he also plastered several small areas where electrical and joinery works had been done and needed patch plastering. He charged me what he had estimated on the phone with no extra for the ‘bits’.
He is a very skilled and experienced plasterer. Martin is a very clean and tidy worker and very trustworthy and on top of all this, he’s a very nice man. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone and I will certainly use him again.
Martin has now done two pieces of work for us. He chipped off and re-plastered over some very heavy and unsightly artex on our living room ceiling and recently plastered the walls of our spare room after we removed some aged wood chip paper and re-boarded and plastered the cracked ceiling in the same room.
He is amiable, reliable and honest and does a very good job. We will certainly be employing his services again and would recommend him to friends and family.
We contacted Martin to quote for removing tiles, then platering our kitchen walls and artex ceiling. When he came he was punctual and provided a professional quote. We subsequently had Martin do the work; he did a fantastic job, was friendly and the consumate professional.
As the work Martin did was so goode, we also had him re-tile our bathroom floor. Once again a great job was done.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin. We will certainly be using him again in the future.

Top class job, we asked Martin to plaster our artex ceiling. The results were “blemish-less” highly recommended.
Martin has recently plasterd the celing in my lounge. he did an exelent and profesional job.
I highly recomend him and have to friends and family.
I had recently sufferd at the hands of a workman who left a right mess and also damaged some plaster and sockets in my kitchen. Martin also repaird the damage that the other guy left me in.
Now when i need work doing i dont even bother getting other quotes as i know i will get an exelent job done at a reasonable price.

I phoned three plasterers to estimate for an insurance claim. Martin was the only one to respond and keep the appointment made; the other two made appointments but did not bother to turn up.
He has done a good job, at the appointed time and made no mess. Also, he was happy to alter the job spec. at my request and the final cost was adjusted accordingly without any fuss. I would certainly call him again for further work
I would like to add to the many positive comments left on the testimonial pages. Martin was always prompt and arrived when he said he would, great communications and a really nice chap. The work was completed to a very high standard and great care taken to protect carpets, flooring, furniture etc. The price was very competitive and I have since passed on details to a neighbour and friend. Martin even let my wife have a go, don’t think she will change her career though.

I needed a new ceiling I had built skimming and called Martin for a quote. He was round within half an hour and quoted a great price there and then.
